The money raised by the Catherine McEwan Foundation is split between two main causes – Crohn’s & Colitis UK, the national charity, and the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity. The Foundation is run by a small group of dedicated volunteers so there are no staffing costs. All the money we raise goes directly to supporting people living with Inflammatory Bowel Diseases.
To date, we’ve raised over £700,000 through a series of events and sponsored activities. Our main fundraising event is The Red Hot Ball which is one of Glasgow’s biggest, most anticipated and most talked-about charity balls.
In the spirit of positivity and raising money with a smile. We do sponsored runs, walks, parachute jumps and a host of events all in the name of fundraising. If you want to get involved – by volunteering, fundraising or donating, we wholeheartedly welcome your support and would love to hear from you!
